Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
Happy New Year! Thank you for the lovely cards and gifts that I received last term and also for your kind and
generous donations for gift cards and leaving presents for Sarah and Fenella.
Congratulations to all the students from age 5 to 17 years who gained excellent results in their ballet
examinations. Well done to Amy, Andrea, Poppy and Alycia for passing their first vocational examination.
I am very proud of you all and I received very positive feedback from the examiner.
Please remember to check the new timetable for changes.
Tuesday Evenings: Flamenco and Grade 5 Ballet and Intermediate Cecchetti are now held on Tuesday evenings.
Tuesday students should have received an email with adjustments to the timetable. Please email me with any
queries.
Wednesday Evenings: We now have an Adult and Student Pilates class with Christine Jackman ; £45 for a 5
week course. It is essential that you book into this to avoid disappointment as Christine’s classes are very
popular! Please email me to book as my landline is still broken and I have very little signal on my mobile.
Friday Evenings: Tap and Modern classes have moved to Fridays with Melanie Silk. We have spaces if your child
would like to start.
We are still awaiting the tap and modern examination results.
There is a room upstairs if you wish to stay while your child is dancing but on a Monday it can only be used until
17.15.
Please find attached a uniform list and revised timetable. Please make sure that students and children wear the
correct uniform and have neat and tidy hair. Please do not wear jewellery to class. Shoes should be ordered
through the school to ensure that they are correctly fitted and are a good quality. Please do not pass on second
hand ballet shoes.
Please make sure that all fees are paid before term starts and that registration forms are filled in with
emergency contact details and relevant medical information supplied and updated at the beginning of every
new term. If you have mislaid your invoice, please contact me and I will send you a copy.
We are welcoming 3 new teachers this term: Holly Unnuk Ballet and Contemporary, Marie Oakley Ballet and
Christine Jackman Pilates.

: La Joaqina: Flamenco Workshop and Performance 17.00-19.00 @ South Ascot Church Hall
March 8th: Cecchetti Choreographic Competition London NW1 7AY
March 22nd: Southern Award Cecchetti Competition Barn Theatre, Southwick (Extra classes available to learn
the dances.)
