I hope you are having a wonderful half term break. Here are reminders of what is happening in the next few months at the School ...

Don't forget that classes resume the week commencing Monday 3rd November. It is vital that the students attend all their classes and rehearsals leading up to their forth coming examinations. You are also invited to watch the classes W/C Monday 1st December 2014.

I am postponing the Christmas Party to make it into a summer disco instead.

This term we have examinations in Ballet, Modern and Tap and also selected pupils are participating in the prestigous Cecchetti Childrens' Awards and Mabel Ryan Competition. 

Next term our Spanish Students will take part in a Flamenco Work Shop with Assessments with a leading Flamenco Specialist, La Joaquina from "Flamenco Express" (Date to be confirmed.)
Fenella Barker will be visiting us on December 4th. If you would like to donate towards a gift, please put your donation in a named envelope.

Thank you for your feedback forms which were lovely and very helpful. The £25 uniform voucher was won by Jessica Pratley. Well done!.
 There are also 2 competitions for children and students in Cecchetti Ballet, The Cecchetti Choreographic Competition and The Southern Awards which take place in March 2014 for chidren age 7+.

As you already know, we will be saying a very sad googbye to Sarah Swinfield who will be leaving after many happy years due to her move to Kent. If you would like to donate towards her leaving present, please put your donation in a named envelope and sign her leaving card. Her last day will be Monday 1st December.

We will be welcoming 3 excellent and exprienced new teachers to the Ballet School in January 2015
Ballet: Miss Holly Unnuck and Mrs Marie Oakley
Pilates: Christine Jackman
Natasha will continue to teach the Flamenco classes.
The new January Timetable will be displayed on the website and in the hall. Please check your new times for January.

Ballet exams: Sunday 30th November
Cecchetti Grade 1 and Pre-primary pupils - arrive 30 minutes early.
All other grades - arrive 1 hour early.
